It was in the 1990s that the Théâtre du Bic began its activities, in an old barn relocated to an enchanting site near our precious St. Lawrence River. At the time, it was expected to operate only in summer, but soon the theater's reputation invited it to present events year-round.

 

In 2019, a major project to renovate, expand and update the theatre's stage facilities takes shape. Go multimédia's expertise is called upon to produce a functional and technical study. Then, in 2020, the project quickly became a reality! Go multimedia joins the team of professionals. The challenges to be overcome were considerable: optimizing the atypical scenic space for the presentation of the performing arts, and integrating scenic and technological equipment adapted to current presentation conditions. The challenge was met! This cultural facility, which has lost none of its warmth or intimacy, offers artists all the flexibility they need to push back the boundaries of their creative work. The enlargement of the backstage area and the addition of a rehearsal room also enhance operating functionalities.

 

This project illustrates our ability to combine aesthetics, ergonomics and performance in the service of live performance.
